Gabriel Dishaw, the upcycler sculptor is redefining mixed media art and pop culture with his innovative works of art which are hand crafted out of electrical waste parts typically found deep in your garage. Dishaw gathers typewriters, machines and old computers - technology that would usually end up in a landfill and finds environmentally friendly ways to repurpose waste. His work has been commissioned from Nike, Ripley’s and Vizio but to name a few. The size of the sculptures range from small to life size which gets us thinking - could our warehouse be a gold mine for metal art sculpture?
